Little Rock just beat three teams ranked higher than Troy and did it with Brannon Westmoreland pitching like an ace and Blake Simpson providing the spark. Troy counters with Jimmy Janicki — arguably the best player on either roster — and 102 home runs of firepower that proved it can dismantle elite pitching in Gainesville. The path is clear for both: Little Rock wins if Westmoreland can dominate early and their lineup limits the damage against Troy's deep bullpen; Troy wins if their power advantage overwhelms a pitching staff that's been leaned on hard this postseason.
