SFF Take
St. John's has the one thing Alabama's pitching can't solve: nothing to lose.
Alabama enters as a prohibitive favorite with SEC pedigree, elite arms, and a hostile home environment. But St. John's has already won twice at Florida State and shown they thrive in elimination baseball when pressure flips expectations upside down. Agresti's power is real, but more importantly, this team plays free. The Tide's home crowd and talent advantage matter less when you're the team nobody believes in. Alabama should win this series. St. John's shouldn't be written off before the first pitch.
